Founded in 1978, the Palestine Aid Society (PAS) provided direct material aid to self-help projects in the Occupied Territories.  The aid helps to build child care and nursery centers, feed families, and provide medical relief.

PAS is anon-profit, tax- exempt, grassroots organization that seeks a broad coalition to promote peace and justice in the Middle East.  PAS enjoys a close relationship with many religious denominations, ethnic groups and progressive movements. At a time when Palestinian society is under occupation PAS help ensure community survival and cultural identity.

Helps Palestinians rebuild their society. When a vocational training center was destroyed during the Sabra/Shatila Massacre, PAS rebuilt it. When food supplies in winter ran low and need arose for a canning center, PAS built it. When family loses its breadwinner and needs foods to survive, PAS Provides it.

Palestinian NGOs currently supported by PAS include Society of In'ash El-Usra and The union of Palestinian Medical Relief Committees (UPMRC) in the West Bank, and Al-Najdeh and Albadia organizations in Lebanon.
